One of the best parts about living in Chicago is having an endless amount of adventures to go on. One of my recent ones was to the Chicago Museum of Illusions, and it did not disappoint. Before going to the museum, I was a little skeptical as I was unaware of how the illusions would work and if it was worth the price of admission. However, it did not disappoint and was worth every penny.
The museum itself is in the perfect place, located by millennium park. Making it a great spot for any tourist, or local to visit. Once inside it is packed full of surprises and illusions that leave you questioning. My favorite illusion from the afternoon would have to be the tunnel that you walk through. While walking straight through the tunnel you feel as though you are turning upside down, and struggle to maintain walking straight. Although this was my favorite, there are so many more memorable illusions to experience. The museum itself is much more than a photo experience and I 10/10 recommend going. It is the perfect way to spend an hour two learning and challenging your brain.
For anyone who loves illusions or is looking for something fun to do I definitely recommend going to this museum. It is super covid safe, and hands-on. Of course, the right company makes the trip, so make sure to take someone just as into the illusions as you so that you have the best time, learning about the illusions around every corner.
